Exclusive Behind The Scenes Of My AARP Photoshoot
This is the story behind the exclusive AARP Photoshoot pictures you want to see! I was so excited to get ready for my AARP photo shoot! In this post, I talk about how I asked my wonderful TikTok community what I should wear. The hands down answer from everyone was purple. In all honesty, it was kind of a no-brainer since purple is my favorite color.
So I decided I would go purple all the way! So, check me out!
Purple Hair Bow
Ok, well, technically, the hair bow is lavender. But it’s in the purple family and it certainly matched my favorite caftan.
My Favorite Purple Glasses
Now you know whatever I wore for my photoshoot, my favorite purple glasses would have to be part of the ensemble! To quote the famous chef, Emeril Lagasse, BAM!
My Favorite Purple Lipsticks
People often ask me about my lipstick color. The truth is I often combine lipsticks to get a shade I like that I think matches my outfit. This color is a combination of two of my favorite purple lipsticks.
Amethyst Earrings
Of course, I was also decked out with amethyst jewelry. From my earrings to my matching ring to my favorite chunky amethyst necklace, I was ready!
The Nails, We Can’t Forget The Nails!
If you follow me, you know I rarely get colors on my nails. I’m pretty much a French Manicure kind of woman. I love the versatility a French Manicure offers. Since I love wearing different colors all of the time, and I’m a recovering Type A personality, I don’t need the stress of wondering if my nails clash with my clothes or lipstick. But not this time! Of course, I had to get purple/lavender nails!
