One of the stops we made on our 35th Anniversary trip was to Royalton Negril. Though we had been in Jamaica numerous times, we never stayed in Negril. We chose Royalton for the location, the luxury and what looked like a wide range of fun water activities wrapped in a luxury, all inclusive package.
If you’ve seen some of my TikTok videos and wanted to see the all in one place, you’re here! This is the one that started them all!
The Room
We were in a Luxury Presidential One Bedroom Suite. It was definitely all that! Take a look around.
The suite has two full bathrooms. The first one is when you first walk in. Both showers have rain shower heads. Here’s the first bathroom.
The master bathroom made it to my list of favorite things. It was was huge, beautiful and indulgent. See for yourself!
The Food
I have a confession to make. I basically have two stomachs. My regular day to day stomach eats dainty portions and can rarely, if ever, handle seconds. Then there is my vacation stomach! My vacation stomach is voracious! It will and does eat almost anything and everything. In unusually large quantities.
It’s said you eat with your eyes. Meaning, if something is visually appealing, you’re more likely to eat it. Royalton understands this concept well. Well, you can see for yourself.
This is from our first night at the Buffet. One of our butlers told us this is always the best option because it takes the food from each of the individual restaurants. We found this to be true about dinner the whole time. As for the breakfast buffet, it’s virtually the only option for a real breakfast but the same options get old after a week.
That is my worst complaint about the food. As you’ll see in the videos, everything else was wonderful!
The drinks!
Royalton is all inclusive so the drinks were part of the package. Yes! Also, since we were Diamond Club, we got top shelf liquor. Right up my alley!
The Spa
The spa was definitely one of my favorite things at the resort. Here’s a video I shared on Tiktok.
Since I love to spa, I’ve added a section to my blog called Spallowme. I’ll be posting more pics of the spa and other spas in this section.
The Celebration
The resort blew us away when we returned from our Bucket List excursion. I’ll do another post about that. When we came back to the room, we were treated to this surprise!
That evening, I surprised Michael with a beachside dinner that turned out to be simply magical as the wonderful photographer captured the magic of the evening.
Activities and entertainment
There were no shortage of activities as you’ll see in these videos.
There were so many fun things and I promised to keep these posts short so here’s a highlights recap of some of my favorite things.
I’ll share more about our trip in a separate post, I hope you enjoyed this one.
