Nostalgic Images for Friday Fun!
How about some nostalgic images for some Friday fun? I woke up one Friday and decided I wanted to have some sensory throwback fun. What do I mean by that? You know how you can look at some pictures and it evokes your sensory memories along with the image? That’s what I mean. But I can show you better than I can tell you.
Now, let’s see if you can experience these nostalgic images for some Friday fun!
Can You Hear The Sound This Paper Makes?
I’m not even sure they still make dot matrix paper. And if they do, if kids in the younger generations have any idea about dot matrix paper. However, all of us Oldheads do. We can all hear the sound that perforated edge makes as you try to carefully tear the edge just so, so you don’t rip the paper. Are you old enough to remember dot matrix printer paper?
Oh, The Smell of Play Doh
Oh, the smell of a newly opened can of Play Doh! If that doesn’t evoke wonderful childhood memories, I don’t know what will! Do you remember what a fresh can of Play Doh smells like?
Feel The Sensation!
If you were around in the ’80s and ’90s, you probably had a waterbed or knew someone who did. They were extremely popular at one point. Either you loved them or hated them but you always remember them! I can still feel the warm delightful feeling of rolling around in our warm waterbed we had back in the late 80s.
Oh, The Cold!
As wonderful as the waterbeds were when they were warm. They were miserable if they were cold. If you’re an Oldhead who ever had a waterbed with a broken heater, you can feel this picture. Brrr!
Can You Taste It?
Oh yes, and who can’t taste the rush of sugary sweetness from the first bite into your favorite Bubblicious Bubble Gum? What was your favorite flavor?
Feel The Anger and Frustration?
