An Insanely Fun Bucket List Adventure
It’s no secret we love Jamaica! It’s somewhere we feel a special connection to every time we visit. As a matter of fact, you can read about some of the fun adventures we’ve had in Jamaica in some of my other blog posts.
As an example, we absolutely love a place we discovered back in 2020. It’s called Strawberry Fields Forever. You can read about it in this blog post. Or you can check out the blog post I did about the incredibly fun Jamaican tradition of Grand Market.
We’ve had so many wonderful experiences we decided to go on a return trip for our 37th wedding anniversary.
A New Insanely Fun Bucket List Adventure To Add To The List
Since we’ve been to Jamaica roughly half a dozen times, we wanted to have some experiences that were different than the ones we previously had. This could have proved to be challenging since we decided to return to the same resort we stayed in 2 years prior for our anniversary.
We stayed at the Royalton Negril. Part of the inspiration for returning is because now Royalton is part of the Marriott family of hotels. In fact, they’re part of the Autograph Collection.
The Marriott Diva in me, needed to see if there would be any noticeable differences under Marriott’s ownership.
Getting Ready
Since I had been watching other people parasailing as I drank delightful tropical drinks on the beach, I felt confident things would go just fine. The crew was clearly experienced and everyone departing always seemed to be laughing and generally in good spirits.
As you can see from the picture above, the crew was not only experienced but has a great sense of humor, too.
Time To Take Off On Our Insanely Fun Bucket List Adventure
Takeoff was literally a breeze. You feel lifted just like on a strong breeze and suddenly you’re flying. It’s quite an incredible feeling of weightlessness.
And Away We Go…
Up, Up and Away
Floating Above It All
Parasailing Is Officially Checked Off The Bucket List
I’m so happy to say we were able to accomplish another item on our Bucket List. Parasailing reminded me quite a bit of going up in a hot air balloon year ago. All I can say is, I’m so glad to be able to experience them with my favorite travel partner, my husband.
Stay tuned as I share more of the Bucket List Items we checked off. As an example, just in case you missed it, here’s another blog post I did about a Bucket List item in Jamaica. That one is about visiting the Wake And Bake Café in Negril.
Want To See The Video?
Here’s the video so you can get a better view of just how much this was.
I am super glad I was able to check this off our to Bucket List. But I have to ask, would you do it? And what’s something on your Bucket List you’ve checked off?
Drop me some comments and let me know.
Until next time,
Namaste,
Khadeeja
